Apple iPhone 5c review

The iPhone 5 has been out for a while and it created waves when it was launched by Apple. We haven’t recovered from the awesomeness of the iPhone 5 and Apple has already given us the iPhone 5c to marvel on. Everyone is talking about it and it is the one of the best that is currently available in the market. There is a question that is lingering in everyone’s mind and that is, is the iPhone 5c worth the update, that is, if you are an Apple iPhone 5 owner do you need to go ahead and get the iPhone 5c or is it just a minor upgrade that you do not need to pay heed to and wait for the iPhone 6. Form Factor

The form factor of the iPhone 5c is the same as that of it’s predecessors. It’s rectangular with curved edges, just that it is bigger than the iPhone 5. It is available in a wide variety of colours and has the plastic body as opposed to the metallic body that its predecessors have. the plastic is not ordinary though and is basically made of a polycarbonate mix which leaves a sheen on the body of the iPhone.

Camera

The handset has 8MP rear facing camera with the iSight technology. There is the LED Flash that supports the camera. Many of the apps that are available with the handset right out of the box. There is the 1.2MP front facing camera that has full HD resolution, enabling the best Facetime experience ever.

Operating System

The iPhone 5 received the iOS 7 update and it is definitely a great operating system that has brought out the features of the handset and makes it exceptionally good to use.

The iPhone 5C has the same iOS 7 update that makes it an awesome phone and the apps that are available with the phone are fit for the update.

Memory

The iPhone 5C is available in two variants with respect to the memory. There is a 32GB version and a 64GB version.

Price

The handset has been priced at Rs.41900 for the basic model. This is definitely on the higher side for the features that it packs.
